Aswin’s Pudina (Mint) Thokku
INGREDIENTS
- Pudhina or mint leaves: So refreshing, lip-smacking and appetizing
- Dry red chillies: Adds the heat and spice to the thokku
- Pickle powder: mustard seeds and fenugreek are a must.
- Garlic: More flavour. Who can say no to that!
- Tamarind: Adds more zing to the thokku. If you have tamarind paste, add a tablespoon of it.
- Jaggery: Helps balance all the tastes.
- Salt to taste and gingelly oil to cook.
